About the opportunity:

Finance Administrator (Part Time)

Expected working pattern: preferably office-present 5 days per week, working a total of 20-30 hours per week (flexible on start/finish times each work day). Salary is pro-rated.

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute and verify day-to-day transaction processing for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers, generate sales invoices and follow up on outstanding client payments.
  • Process supplier invoices and staff expenses in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring correct coding and categorisation.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations in Xero and execute weekly payment runs for domestic and international suppliers.
  • Conduct preparatory checks for month-end close, including clearing down the general expenses nominal and ensuring clearing account balances are nil.
  • Support the Finance Manager/Group Financial Controller by compiling and formatting financial data for management reports and key sales analysis.
  • Maintain meticulous financial administration of all bookings, ensuring key sales data is accurately reflected in the live sales sheet and Xero.
  • Verify VAT coding on all sales and purchase invoices, re-coding transactions as necessary to ensure compliance with tax schemes.
  • Provide support to the operations and financial operations team during peak periods.

Hours of work: 20-30 hours per week, in office (min. 4 days, preferably 5 days).

Reports to: Group Financial Controller (London based).

What you can expect:

  • Salary range of Β£27,500–£30,000 FTE, pro-rated based on agreed working hours.
  • Expected working pattern of 20–30 hours per week, preferably split over 4-5 days, with flexibility on the exact number of hours worked each day.

  • Experience working with Xero preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Creativity, flexibility, and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious, with a team-oriented approach.
  • A passion for golf and sport is a plus.
