About the Role
The post holder's key role is to undertake telephone triage of referrals which come into the service. The aim is to provide information, advice, signposting and/or make referrals to multi‑agency partners utilising established pathways. This includes referrals relating to a wide range of health and wellbeing themed topics including homelessness prevention. To receive phone calls from members of the public in relation to several service pathways and to deal with calls efficiently and effectively.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification or experience
- Experience of liaising with customers/clients via a range of methods
- Experience of working in a customer facing role or environment
- Experience of accurately capturing, storing and retrieving information to meet organisational and customer need
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to adapt to dealing with all kinds of customers in order to assist them adequately
- Be competent in using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
