About the Role
As a Building Control Officer, you will assess applications, conduct site inspections and provide practical, professional advice to customers and stakeholders. You will work on a varied portfolio of projects across Nottingham, ensuring buildings are safe, compliant and fit for use. Supported by an experienced & collaborative team, you will have opportunities to broaden your experience, maintain and develop your competencies, and work alongside Principal Surveyors and Managers.
About You
- Registered Building Inspector capability at Class 2A level (or working towards/eligible for 2A registration) with sound knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly to a wide range of stakeholders
- Commitment to excellent customer service and enthusiasm for promoting and developing Building Control services in a competitive environment
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake site inspections and attend meetings as required.
