With more than 100 branches already established and over 60 new locations opening across France and internationally, GoldUnion has become a recognised leader in gold buying and selling. We have recently launched our UK expansion, with our first agencies now open in Bishops Stortford and Bognor Regis, and our next opening scheduled for Chippenham.

At GoldUnion, we don’t simply trade precious metals; we deliver a premium, people-focused experience, treating every client with the same care and respect as the value of the assets they bring to us.

We are looking for our next Branch Commercial Manager to lead one of our elegantly designed boutiques, located in the heart of the town. Your mission is to drive sales growth and strengthen GoldUnion’s presence in the local market. You will manage the branch with a high level of autonomy, delivering a premium customer experience while confidently handling high-value transactions. We will rely on your strong commercial mindset and interpersonal skills, and provide you with comprehensive training and ongoing support. No prior experience in precious metals is required; full paid training will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing your branch autonomously as the local face of GoldUnion, leading daily operations with a strong sales-first mindset.
  • Assess and purchase precious metals such as gold, jewellery, and coins.
  • Building strong customer relationships and delivering a high-end, trusted service while ensuring smooth branch operations and excellent presentation through strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ensuring full compliance with AML, KYC, security procedures, and all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining excellent presentation and visibility within the branch.
  • Driving local growth by increasing sales through a defined marketing strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional negotiation skills - this is the core of the role.
  • A confident, charismatic, and energetic personality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A natural ability to build rapport and influence outcomes.
  • Comfortable working independently in a single-person branch.
  • High level of professionalism when handling valuable items and transactions.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in retail, financial services/trading environments, sales, customer-facing leadership, or branch management is an advantage, though not essential if you have the right mindset and skill set.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission on every transaction (buying and selling) (no minimum thresholds - you earn from your first deal).
  • Top performers earn over £4,760 / month.
  • Autonomy in your role with tailored support from head office.
  • Paid, hands-on training with industry experts through a comprehensive four-week programme to become a Precious Metals Expert.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Ongoing support from management - we are part of the GoldUnion group, operating as an integrated business.
  • Ongoing support from management for local and regional marketing initiatives.
  • The opportunity to grow with an ambitious and expanding international business.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (occasional home visits required).
  • Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday (9:30am - 6:00pm with 1-hour lunch break).
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
