The person in this role is responsible for the daily planning of a fleet of approximately 20 vehicles for Goldstar. You will be based on a customer's site and will also be involved in implementing and monitoring the delivery of goods to customers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to take on significant challenges
- Coordinate and schedule all transport for a fleet of around 20 various sized vehicles
- Monitor and track the movement of goods and vehicles
- Creating and developing a team working environment
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and standards
- Liaise with drivers and other staff to ensure smooth operation
- Maintain an open dialogue with other units’ managers and team members
- Scheduling staff to ensure that vehicles are staffed according to established requirements
- Plan and implement transportation schedules and routes
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to transportation services
- Liaise with on-site customers and warehouse staff
- Prepare all paperwork in a timely manner
- Good attention to detail
- Any other task as mentioned by the management
