Responsibilities
- To operate (learn to operate) the Container Lifters safely and effectively for the container parks, in line with Company policy and procedure.
- To operate (learn to operate) the Counterbalance Forklifts safely and effectively for the container parks, in line with Company policy and procedure.
- To carry out all aspects of Manual Handling and Handballing duties safely and effectively for the container parks, in line with Company policy and procedure.
- To carry out all aspects of Container Inspection and fitting and removal of Bulk Liner Bags or Garment Racking as and when required, for the container parks, in line with Company policy and procedure.
- To carry out all aspects and duties of the container control desk and all related communications.
- To adhere to all requirements and responsibilities relating to the use of our various class of forklift for the respective devan or task required to complete.
- To complete the relevant training requirements for your role.
- Any ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Ensure that you do not undertake any role that you have not had the respective and sufficient training to carry out. Please point out to your supervisor if this situation should arise and we will arrange necessary training.
- To follow all H&S and SSOW legislation.
