About the Role
We are seeking suitably experienced Warehouse Supervisor to play animportant role in the warehouse operations at our MaddingtonDistribution Centre. As warehouse supervisor you will beresponsible for managing a small team, assisting with all warehouseactivities, and ensuring effective and timely movements of loadswithin a busy transport yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective leadership of a small warehouse team
- Ensuring efficient yard operations
- Trailer loading/unloading, load-restraint and ensuring thecorresponding paperwork is accurate
- Securing loads with load restraints
- Ensuring the immediate work area is safe and free ofhazards
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a busy transport yard
- Previous experience managing a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's licence and transport
- LF License – 2.5 tonne or higher is highly regarded
- Invoicing experience is highly regarded
