The family is seeking an experienced and highly organised temporary housekeeper to provide full cover for two weeks. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to maintain high standards within a busy private household.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and general upkeep
- Manage all laundry tasks: washing, ironing, daily bed changes and careful wardrobe management (experience with high-value garments essential)
- Dust surfaces, clean shelves, blinds, ceilings, windowsills and other surfaces
- Polish silverware, dishes and other household items as required
- Clean and sanitise furniture and fixed items
- Inspect rooms and communal areas to ensure they remain tidy, well-maintained and free of waste
- Conduct regular inventory checks in shared bathrooms and replenish consumables
- Ensure the home is well organised, with items stored correctly
- School drop-off and pick-up as requested
- Purchase and prepare simple meals
- Support holiday activities for children if required
- Run errands for the household or business (driving licence required)
- Carry out any additional duties in line with the family’s needs
