Position Details
Position: Specialist Indian Chef De Partie
Employer: Busy casual dining Vegetarian Indian restaurant
Location: Leicester, England
Gross salary package: circa £40,000 + (incl. share of service charge + targeted bonus)**
Weekly working hours/days: up to 48 hours / 5 days (tbc)

Your role involves skillful preparation of complex South Asian vegetarian curry dishes and a multitude of varieties of Dosa, and other specialties specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff, and assist in the company\’s impending apprenticeship scheme.
Minimum Requirements
- Eligibility to live and work in UK
- Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality South Asian dishes & Specialties
- Technical knowledge of ingredient quality and formulation
- Ideal previous experience of at least 3 years in role
- Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
- Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
