The position is being offered by a restaurant nestled in the heart of Edinburgh, the renowned Asian restaurant offers a unique blend of authentic flavours and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each dish is crafted to order using the freshest ingredients, ensuring a delightful culinary experience.
Your role involves skilful preparation of complex East Asian dishes and specialties specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with the job role, and also be engaged in training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality East Asian dishes & Specialties
- Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
- Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
- Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
- Resident within commutable distance of up to an hour
