Position Details

  • Employer: Premium Fine Dining Italian Restaurant
  • Location: Oban, Scotland
  • Salary: circa £36,000 (incl. share of tronc / service charge + target-led bonus)
  • Working Hours: up to 48 hours / 5 days (tbc)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare skillful, complex, and regional Italian dishes and specialties specific to the restaurant’s theme and menus.
  • Supervise and train Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.
  • Perform a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with the role.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high-quality Italian dishes & specialties.
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation.
  • At least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols.
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour.
