Position: General Manager

Employer: Prestigious Fine Dining Indian Restaurant

Location: London

Gross salary package: Circa £100,000 (incl. share of tronc/service charge + target led bonus)

Weekly working hours/days: up to 48 hours / 5 days (tbc)

Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), incentives, employer's workplace pension, employee care and wellbeing support + more.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overall management and performance of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and profitable daily operations across both front and back of house.
  • Overseeing all departments to maintain exceptional service, food quality, and operational standards.
  • Driving guest satisfaction through professional handling of feedback and issues.
  • Managing staffing, training, compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
  • Overseeing budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
  • Working closely with Directors, the Head Chef, and managers to implement business strategies, coordinate reservations and events, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Ensuring accurate cash handling, financial reporting, and seamless communication between kitchen and front of house teams.

To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements:

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • UKVI-compliant English literacy.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of restaurant operations, including financial and staff management, within a premium restaurant environment.
  • Minimum 3 years (ideally 5) previous experience in a General Manager or senior restaurant management role.
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols.
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour.
