Position Details
  • Position: Business Development Manager
  • Employer: Fine Dining Indian Restaurant
  • Location: Edinburgh
  • Gross OTE salary package: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (incl. share of service charge + targeted bonus)
  • Weekly working hours/days: 30 - 35 hours within 5 / 6 days
  • Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), incentives, employer’s workplace pension, employee care and wellbeing support + more
Responsibilities
  • Your role involves developing and delivering strategies to grow the restaurant’s business.
  • Identifying and securing new clients and contracts (Corporate, Catering, private dining).
  • Developing partnerships with local businesses and community organisations.
  • Managing marketing and promotional campaigns, including digital and social media.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
  • Preparing sales and performance reports.
  • Supporting management with initiatives to increase revenue and customer engagement.
Qualifications
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + minimum 5 years of prior experience in escalating job roles.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour.
