Welcome to GOLDSTAR CHEFS, the UK's main recruitment hub for international themed establishments seeking high calibre international hospitality professionals. This position is offered by a renowned Italian restaurant in Edinburgh.

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Gross salary package: Circa £34,000 (incl. share of tronc/service charge + target led bonus)

Weekly working hours/days: up to 48 hours / 5 days

Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), incentives, employer's workplace pension, employee care and wellbeing support + more.

You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, contributing to a dynamic kitchen team that delivers exceptional dining experiences. Your expertise will help shape the menu and elevate the culinary standards of the establishment. You will also support junior kitchen staff through training and supervision.

To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements:

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high-quality Italian dishes
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Ideal previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + minimum 3 years of prior experience in escalating job ranks
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
