The role involves teaching across three years, delivering tutorials, lectures, and seminars. You will handle academic administration related to teaching and assessment and participate in applicant interviews. The course includes lectures and seminars in the first year, research-based courses in the second, and a 7,500-word dissertation in the third. Expect to teach approximately one day per week during term time. About the Candidate The candidate should be an artist or art historian with an international professional record and HE Fine Art teaching experience. They should be responsive to the needs of students on this student-centred course, have an active research profile, and produce outputs for the REF. A serious engagement with personal practice and understanding of current theories and debates in contemporary art are essential.
