We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Care Coordinator to join our growing team at our Walthamstow branch.
The RoleAs a Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of care services by coordinating care packages, managing staff rotas, and maintaining excellent communication with clients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
You will be responsible for ensuring that service users receive high-quality, person-centred care while supporting our care staff to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule care visits efficiently using electronic rostering systems.
- Manage and maintain staff rotas, ensuring adequate cover at all times.
- Match carers to service users based on skills, experience, and client needs.
- Liaise with service users, families, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of care staff.
- Monitor care delivery and address any issues promptly and professionally.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and CQC regulations.
- Conduct spot checks, care reviews, and quality assurance visits where necessary.
- Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Senior Carer, Field Care Supervisor, or similar role within domiciliary care.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads.
- Good IT skills and experience using care management or rostering systems.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and care sector regulations.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
