We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate and motivated Field Care Supervisor to join our growing team in Chipping Norton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
About the Role
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our services and supporting our team of care professionals. Working closely with the Registered Manager and Care Coordinators, you will ensure that care is delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with CQC regulations and company standards. This is a varied role that combines quality assurance, staff support and client engagement, making a real difference to both our service users and our care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out new client assessments and regular care reviews.
- Conduct spot checks, competency assessments, observations and staff supervisions.
- Support, mentor and coach Care Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and client records are accurate and up to date.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns.
- Work closely with the office team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
- Promote compliance with CQC regulations, company policies and best practice.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within domiciliary care, ideally in a Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Worker or Team Leader role.
- A good understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and person-centred care.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently while supporting a busy operational team.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using digital care management systems.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
- An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (preferred).
