The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Located in our Rainham, Essex facility, we are recruiting with immediate effect for an MMA and FCAW Welder Trainer.

Your Tasks:

  • Provide training and assessments on the Thermit Welding premises and other approved training centres as required.
  • Provide expert advice and assistance to all our customers and partners.
  • Provide support to TW management for development and testing of new products and processes.
  • Ensure continued compliance with company quality, safety and environmental policies while undertaking all activities.

Our Benefits:

  • The position will be primarily office based at our premises in Rainham, Essex but may include some off-site training (UK only) where necessary.
  • To provide a good work/life balance the position will be Monday – Friday, broadly 07:00 till 15:00.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • The use of a fully expensed company van.
  • 25 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays (33 days paid leave total).

Your Profile:

  • Qualified in MMA (Manual Metal Arc) and FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) for delivery of training and assessments.
  • NSAR (National Skills Academy Rail) recognised status highly beneficial.
  • Qualified welder to TW 1 - 5 (minimum).
  • Qualified welding inspector level advantageous but not essential.
  • Must be passionate about delivering and developing future talent for the railway industry.
