Located in our Rainham, Essex facility, we are recruiting with immediate effect for an MMA and FCAW Welder Trainer.
Your Tasks:
- Provide training and assessments on the Thermit Welding premises and other approved training centres as required.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to all our customers and partners.
- Provide support to TW management for development and testing of new products and processes.
- Ensure continued compliance with company quality, safety and environmental policies while undertaking all activities.
Our Benefits:
- The position will be primarily office based at our premises in Rainham, Essex but may include some off-site training (UK only) where necessary.
- To provide a good work/life balance the position will be Monday – Friday, broadly 07:00 till 15:00.

- The use of a fully expensed company van.
- 25 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays (33 days paid leave total).
Your Profile:
- Qualified in MMA (Manual Metal Arc) and FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) for delivery of training and assessments.
- NSAR (National Skills Academy Rail) recognised status highly beneficial.
- Qualified welder to TW 1 - 5 (minimum).
- Qualified welding inspector level advantageous but not essential.
- Must be passionate about delivering and developing future talent for the railway industry.
