The Kids' Club Supervisor is responsible for leading the Kids' Club team to achieve safe, clean, and fun child-care services and children's programs that exceed member and guest expectations. The Kids' Club Supervisor will interact positively with prospects, members, guests, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time.
- Ensure an entertaining and safe experience for members' children in keeping with company standards.
- Create age-appropriate activities and programming.
- Recruit, train, and manage Kids' Club staff.
- Assist in day-to-day club operations as a member of the management team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure Kids' Club rules and regulations are followed at all times, with children's safety as the number one priority.
- Create and implement child-care schedule while staying on budget.
- Develop systems for covering absences and finding substitutes.
- Supervise and review Kids' Club staff, providing ongoing feedback and annual evaluations.
- Create budget projections and financial reports for the department.
- Develop and market Kids' Club programming.
- Share all programming and registration information with Front Desk staff.
- Track revenue, payroll, and expenses against established budgets.
- Prepare departmental payroll on time and accurately.
- Conduct emergency action drills quarterly with staff.
- Provide ongoing child-care training for staff, holding quarterly meetings.
- Post evacuation routes at all Kids' Club room exits and train department and management staff on specific Kids' Club emergency procedures.
- Provide members and parents with consistent, proactive hospitality.
- Respond to any member or guest concerns or comments within 24-48 hours.
- Understand and model employee standards of conduct and ethics.
- Uphold club building, facilities, service, program, and emergency procedures.
- Act as Manager On Duty when required.
- Meet weekly with general manager.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
- Work early morning, evening, and weekend hours as necessary.
