Job Description

Goldman Sachs Wealth Management specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. Wealth Management teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities, and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform, inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning, and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Support stakeholder diary management, including the management of complex calendars across multiple time zones
  • Arrange stakeholder travel; organize and provide detailed travel schedules and process related expenses in a timely manner. Be the main contact for expense questions
  • Coordinate with approximately 20 professionals ranging from Associates to Managing Directors
  • Manage internal and external meeting logistics, including booking conference rooms, guest registration, and organizing materials
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, relaying messages, photocopying, scanning, printing, participating in ad-hoc projects, and planning team events
  • Assist with marketing and client engagement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to Compliance regulations and obtain necessary approvals
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and disseminate relevant information
  • Act as an integral team member, maintaining awareness of current priorities and support needs
  • Support colleagues and cover when necessary
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from Wealth Management professionals

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience as an assistant, preferably within banking, financial services, or a corporate environment
  • Motivated team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer service orientation and positive attitude
  • Proactive with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; able to take initiative and seek clarification when needed
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize, and multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High integrity and confidentiality
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
