This position will involve significant interaction with people in the business and Global Tax, and will require strong transaction management skills.
If you are a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working in a fast-paced environment, this role will appeal to you.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAdvising businesses in Goldman Sachs Asset Management on tax consequences related to alternative investment funds and dealsWorking with, and challenging the input from, external advisorsLiaising with other tax colleagues within the firm, particularly in the USREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSProfessionally qualified – Lawyer or ACA/CTA Minimum 2 years post-qualification tax experience at a leading firmStrong technical UK tax knowledge Experience of cross-border transactions and structuring, including knowledge of tax regimes in other European jurisdictions and the USA (US experience preferred but not required) Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence senior business stakeholders and make decisionsFlexible and able to learn quicklyHighly motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environmentABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
