Responsibilities

- Collaborate with trading, sales, asset management, banking, finance and others, to build and automate solutions to keep our firm’s position on the cutting edge.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Our team of engineers builds solutions to the most complex problems. We develop cutting‑edge software and platforms that form the core of our key business and enable transactions to move in milliseconds. We provide real‑time access to critical deal information and process billions of data points each day to inform firm‑wide market insights and strategies. Team members have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology innovation alongside industry leaders and make significant contributions to the field. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain subject matter expertise in both technology and finance. This is a backend engineering role which will involve working across a variety of areas, primarily micro‑service development in Java, Spring and interaction with MongoDB. You will ideally be familiar with distributed services, testing, system monitoring and reporting, and the complete SDLC process.
Skills And Experience We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience with Java, Spring & non‑SQL technologies such as MongoDB
- Experience with micro‑services, Java deployments & DevOps tools such as GitLab
- Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
- An ability to drive to goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and documentation skills – both verbally and in writing to effectively interact with multiple people and global teams
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong team player & experience working with global teams
- Self‑motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
