Private Wealth Management (PWM) secures, develops and manages relationships with high net worth individuals, their families, family offices and foundations. PWM assists clients with building and preserving their financial wealth by creating and implementing long‑term asset allocation within the context of each client’s particular risk tolerance, and by providing access to innovative investment ideas and opportunities. PWM professionals develop customized investment strategies and offer a full array of wealth management products and services, including private banking and trust company services.
Your Impact
As a Talent Strategy Associate within PWM you will be responsible for devising and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain exceptional and diverse talent. People are core to our business, and the Talent Strategy team drives our people strategy to achieve our commercial priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support successful delivery of projects against strategic priorities related to our people strategy, including onboarding and integration, training and development, recognition and advancement, culture building and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Partner with PWM leadership, Human Capital Management and other functional teams at all levels on talent projects, from ideation to implementation.
- Analyze people data to identify and quantify strategic opportunities.
- Manage project deliverables, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies and interim milestones.
- Help create and execute training and development programs, including providing on the ground support for each of the aligned programs.
- Manage presenters, communications and logistics for the respective programs including:
- Work with Regional Management Teams, working groups and program champions to staff and approve all presenters
- Confirm speaker availability
- Setup prep calls and prep materials
- Update/maintain agenda
- Create and distribute program communications
- Maintain Confluence site with all materials, video recordings and resources.
- Work with the Services team to ensure successful execution of all logistics for in‑person programming.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Serve as a regional representative within the global Talent Strategy team, ensuring alignment with global priorities and supporting execution of key initiatives in the region
- Support the delivery of ad hoc AWM Talent Strategy projects and initiatives as business needs evolve
- Experience working in and with HR functions preferred, but optional
- Self‑starter who takes ownership and can lead/manage projects independently
- Confidence and poise to work closely with management and business partners, with the ability to effectively interact and build relationships with stakeholders
- Highly organized and process‑oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow‑through
- Strong organizational and project‑management skills
- Comfortable with analyzing and manipulating people data
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing multiple simultaneous time‑sensitive initiatives
- Strong analytical and technical skills with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data management) and experience creating high‑quality decks
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity, good judgment and discretion
