ROLE OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
- A Transaction Banking Sales Associate will provide support to the sales teams in researching new business opportunities, assisting in developing creative solutions for clients and forging deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Transaction Banking business, working capital management, and the function of corporate treasuries.
- Assist in the creation of custom client marketing materials to deliver our value proposition.
- Organize and prepare presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options and recommend strategies to help our clients meet their goals.
- Coordinate customized pricing proposals to help quantify client opportunities.
- Gather and synthesize information on prospective and existing clients to brief internal stakeholders.
- Participate in client calls and meetings.
- Partner with stakeholders across the firm to help deliver 'One Goldman Sachs' to clients.
- Develop knowledge and expertise on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Client facing exposure would be highly beneficial.
- Extremely strong analytical skills and ability to work with mass datasets including PowerPoint.
- Passion and natural curiosity for the financial services industry and a desire to build knowledge of our business and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure.
- Self-motivated and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to juggle changing priorities and a varied workload associated with a tech start-up.
- Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
