About Transaction Banking
Our Transaction Banking division combines the strength of a 150âyearâold firm with the agility of a tech startâup, aiming to provide comprehensive cash management solutions for corporations. Within this dynamic environment, TxB's Channels team is dedicated to building and optimizing the digital pathways through which our clients interact with our products, developing robust APIs and implementing secure communication standards that are both innovative and regulatoryâcompliant.
Role Overview
The Associate Product Manager within the Channels team will support the development of the Open Banking and EBICS channels. Partnering closely with Transaction Banking Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, Coverage and Information Security teams, this role will help manage regulatory and scheme adherence. This position demands a strong technical understanding of API, modular architecture and communication protocols to effectively manage and enhance our digital offerings.
Responsibilities
- Drive highâimpact AI and digitalâasset initiatives from discovery to scaled delivery.
- Drive the endâtoâend lifecycle management of Open Banking and EBICS features, including designing and defining requirements, delivery, testing, rollout, documentation, and change management.
- Collaborate closely with TxB's engineering and QA teams to manage API and EBICS enhancements, backlog prioritization, interface specifications, release notes, and deprecations.
- Monitor channel performance and controls: availability, error rates, consent flows, authentication and entitlements; drive issue remediation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including legal, compliance, risk and business teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a technical role with a focus on API product delivery.
- Ability to understand and articulate regulatory and standard requirements and turn them into clear engineering tasks.
- Experience defining epics, stories and test cases for new requirements. Ability to execute test cases.
- Excellent organizational, timeâmanagement and planning skills with a track record of balancing multiple initiatives across adâhoc and projectâbased activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical expertise with the open banking regulatory requirements (PSD2/PSR/SCA) and EBICS standard (order types; signature specifics).
- Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, and control evidence of the regulated products.
- Transaction banking/cash management integration specific knowledge including hostâhost, API, SWIFT.
- Handsâon experience with Digital Assets, Generative AI & Agentic AI.
