We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, organised and highly motivated Marketing Operations Executive to join the Marketing team in our London office. This role will be responsible for managing our marketing processes and project management to ensure the smooth running of cross-channel campaigns. We are looking for someone that works best in a fast-paced environment and combines a genuine interest in marketing with excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and facilitate key governance and operational processes across the marketing team; facilitating & owning internal approvals forum, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Managing dynamic and evolving marketing calendars.
- Supporting the marketing team to deliver cross-channel campaigns by hosting daily stand-ups to ensure the team are on track, monitoring actions items, identifying any blockers when in campaign periods.
- Establish and uphold marketing workflows, guaranteeing timely and accurate execution of all activities.
- Building and optimising processes that support a roadmap of marketing technology and infrastructure enhancements end-to-end.
- Maintain reliable, well-documented procedures, regularly updating processes to reflect best practices.
- Identify and address risks, issues, and control weaknesses proactively to safeguard daily marketing operations.
- Supporting the marketing team with vendor management processes.
- Become a subject matter expertise in legal and compliance requirements, by working closely with our second line teams.
- Oversee the marketing technology stack, optimising tools and systems to enhance operational effectiveness.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing operations, preferably within financial services, fintech, or technology sectors.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in managing and optimising marketing workflows, and processes across various team-owned tools.
- Ability to manage marketing prioritisation and requests from cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to enhance operational standards and solve process challenges across multiple marketing channels.
- Strong understanding of marketing and communications processes, with a focus on aligning with strategic goals.
- Experience with Kanban boards for efficient project tracking and management.
- A self-starter who is highly organised with excellent communication skills.
