We are seeking a driven professional with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This individual will partner with our dedicated investment and strategy teams across both public and private markets to manage, enhance and develop client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a business plan for each insurance company you cover.
- Establish, maintain and grow relationships with leading insurance company decision makers.
- Develop a complete understanding of Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s product suite and value proposition, which includes market insights and value‑added content to deliver the firm when engaging with clients.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders across Goldman Sachs Asset Management, including Portfolio Managers, Investment Strategists, Legal, Operations and Compliance with a common goal of meeting clients’ needs.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of work experience in asset management or capital markets, preferred.
- Knowledge of, and passion for, asset management and capital markets.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow‑through.
- Strong knowledge and appreciation for the regulatory environment insurance companies operate in.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Undergraduate degree in business or finance related studies, preferred.
- Registrations required or obtained within 3 months of joining.
