We are looking for a professional to join our Investment Banking team in London and use their skills and ideas to make an impact on the success of Goldman Sachs. Our Natural Resources Group advises clients on various financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity/equity‑linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and financial investments.
Role Responsibilities
- Creating and analyzing financial models
- Organizing and preparing client presentations
- Managing transaction processes
- Assisting in structuring transactions
They gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry while developing key analytical, communication, and marketing skills.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and perform customized company valuation analysis
- Participate in M&A transactions and fixed income/equity issuances
- Prepare presentations explaining industry trends and client strategies
- Coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers
- Lead due diligence processes and participate in negotiations of legal documentation
- Maintain client communication and help structure transactions
Basic Qualifications Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- Investment banking or equivalent experience
- History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
- Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively across multiple groups and regions
