Fixed Income & Liquidity Solutions Overview
Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions, within Public Investing, manages more than $1.7 trillion* in assets for a variety of clients, including private wealth mandates and institutional clients such as insurance companies, pension funds, and endowments. The team has a long history of investing across public fixed income strategies including rates, currency and credit on behalf of our clients. Investment ideas are created through collaboration between portfolio managers, research analysts, and traders.
Role Overview
The Fixed Income team has an opportunity for an investment writer focused on macro, markets and fixed income strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about financial markets and a self-starter with experience producing content financial content. The candidate will be responsible for producing timely content including, thought-leadership, messaging and marketing collateral, supporting key stakeholders to promote fixed income content for the fixed income investing group.
Responsibilities
- Researching, writing and editing content for thought-leadership, blogs, podcasts and videos
- Ensure timely production of key content (weekly, monthly, quarterly annually and ad-hoc)
- Consolidate views from the investment team
- Rapid response to market and macro events
- Working with our fixed income investment team to develop and maintain key content and messaging for a range of fixed income strategies
- Customize content for different mediums and audiences
- Working closely with marketing and media to amplify and customize messaging
Work closely with fixed income leadership to identify strategic direction of content in fixed income
Qualifications
- Five years’ writing experience working for an asset management company or similar organization, including finance/investment-focused journalism and PR or investor relations
- Passion for financial markets, with a strong understanding of economics, and fixed income
- Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills as well as keen attention to detail
- An ability to translate key investment views into digestible client friendly content
- Likely to have a degree or further professional qualification in finance-related subjects
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
