Role Overview

We are seeking a Vice President to join the EMEA Real Estate team in London, focusing on origination and execution of new credit investments across Europe for the Real Estate Credit Partners (RECP) fund series. RECP is one of the world\’s largest real estate credit originators, having deployed over $20bn since 2009 in high-yield senior, mezzanine, and construction loans to high-quality sponsors. The role involves originating, underwriting, and executing new investments in Europe, collaborating closely with regional and global teams.

Responsibilities

1. Lead all aspects of investment transactions, from origination to underwriting, structuring, due diligence, and execution.
2. Manage a deal team typically comprising an associate and analyst, and coordinate with external advisors. Collaborate with regional and sector teams, Loan Asset Management, construction, and ESG professionals.
3. Present to internal and external stakeholders (Investment Committee, fund LP presentations, etc.).
4. Build and develop sponsor coverage relationships.

Skills & Experience

1. Proven track record sourcing and executing credit deals with strong sponsor relationships, from transaction experience in Debt Capital Markets and Private Equity firms.
2. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
3. Relevant degree in Finance, Business, or related field, with an excellent academic and professional record.
4. 8+ years’ experience in Real Estate Finance, particularly in loan origination roles.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Self-starter, proactive team player with urgency, responsibility, and influence skills.
7. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities, able to work under pressure positively.
8. European languages are a plus.
