The Asset Management Alternatives Private Execution and Closing (AM Alts E&C) team is seeking an Associate to help support the various business lines within Alternative Asset Management. This is an exceptionally diverse role that entails collaboration with global Deal teams, Strategists, Controllers, Legal, Technologists, Risk, Credit, Tax, Compliance & cross Operational groups to facilitate a business that is multi-asset, dynamic and bespoke.
The Execution and Closing team provides trade processing support across a number of asset classes including Public & Private Securities, Loans, and bespoke structures for issuers which span industry sectors. The successful individual will be expected to work in a team of Execution and Closing professionals and exhibit the following skills: proven leadership and organisational skills, commercial thinking, strong attention to detail, creativity, whilst ensuring the highest level of risk management.
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched, or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.
Asset Management Alternatives Execution & Closing team members are operational subject matter experts who play a critical role in supporting bespoke and varied transactions. Primary responsibilities in this highly varied and dynamic role include partnering with the business to book and close transactions, supporting new business activity including the launch of new fund entities, monitoring associated operational controls, and helping the team drive infrastructure enhancement initiatives.
