We are seeking to hire an Associate to join the EMEA Retirement Solutions team based in London. The successful candidate should have 4+ years of UK Defined Contribution investment experience, ideally from a sales or consulting background. The candidate will play an important role supporting the growth of the Retirement business in EMEA. The Retirement Solutions team works across the Institutional, Insurance and TPW channels, meaning a collaborative approach is essential to deliver on growth ambitions. The candidate will need to effectively engage and build relationships with stakeholders within each of these channels. The role is newly created and offers the candidate the opportunity to shape the scope of their responsibility and bring their own perspectives to the team. This is an exciting and challenging role for a self-motivated candidate who is looking to develop their sales career.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist senior team members with preparation and follow up on client & prospect meetings and respond to client queries on products and services.
- Attend client / prospect meetings with senior members of the retirement, institutional, insurance and TPW teams.
- Develop own external network with associate level contacts at key target prospects.
- Support the Retirement solutions product development strategy which covers traditional and alternative funds and solutions.
- Collaborate with product specialists on a wide range of Goldman Sachs Asset Management products, ranging from traditional Public Markets to Private Assets, and with support functions (Marketing, Compliance, Operations, etc) to execute the business strategy and serve clients’ needs.
- Demonstrate a strong team working attitude and be proactive in learning and promoting new ideas within the team.
