We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented Product Development professional who is seeking to use their creative and technical skills and ideas to join our Global Product Strategy team within our Asset Management business, to support the International ETF Strategy and Development efforts at a very exciting time while the ETF business undergoes significant expansion.

Global Product Strategy, which reports jointly to the Client Solutions Group and Public Investing function within our asset management business, consists of specialized teams focused on Product Development, Strategy & Research for mutual funds, ETFs, collective investment trusts, and other pooled/registered vehicles across all public and public/private asset classes. The team evaluates and coordinates at all aspects of the strategy, research, analysis, design, platform management, and development of new and existing product vehicles for client distribution across third-party wealth, institutional, consultant, insurance, and retirement channels. The team specializes in products primarily comprised of public securities, but also helps facilitate and support initiatives for separately managed accounts, private funds, and public/private products.
We are looking for an Associate to support our International ETF product strategy and development efforts in London.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Supporting the development and delivery of the strategic roadmap for ETFs as well as the end-to-end product design, development, launch, and ongoing oversight for ETFs in partnership with the broader Global Product Strategy team.
- Partnering with key stakeholders to prioritize and efficiently execute on new ETF product ideas that leverage the firm’s investment capabilities and best thinking, drive scale and address meaningful and measurable client demand.
- Developing and communicating ETF product proposals and strategic ETF platform updates for senior management, boards, and internal governance committees.
- Technical project management of new product design and structuring, changes to existing ETFs, evaluating, and identifying conversion opportunities, as well as helping drive and oversee infrastructure requirements for broad ETF product initiatives (working with capital markets, investment teams, distribution, legal, tax, compliance, fund services, finance, operations, etc.).
- Owning the ongoing product management to ensure the ETF product suite remains competitive, is properly positioned to address commercial growth opportunities, and in compliance with the latest regulations.
- Keeping abreast of major developments in the industry (i.e., regulations, tax, competition, etc.) that create new opportunities or challenges to our business.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, CFA or MBA preferred, 3+ years of financial industry experience.
- Knowledge of the ETF industry, client channels, capital markets, vehicle mechanics, and infrastructure requirements through previous experience in ETF product development advantageous but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others across all levels and functions.
- Proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic, strategic mindset, and commercial perspective.
- Strong technical skills including high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with Morningstar and Bloomberg a plus.
