Global Markets Division enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. In addition, we make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis. Operations is at the core of Goldman Sachs. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that enables business to flow. The Operations division partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a fast paced, externally facing client services and management role that provides onboarding, reporting & cash management solutions and support to our clients globally across all Prime Brokerage business lines within Prime Services. The responsibilities of the team include onboarding new clients onto various Goldman Sachs platforms, managing day-to-day support, troubleshooting operations queries, and partnering closely with Sales, Client Relationship Managers, Operations, Engineers, and other technology teams to provide continual technical services to clients in an ever-changing market. An essential part of the role is gaining a deep understanding of the Goldman Sachs’ Prime Services flows to assist clients to get the most out of our PB offerings on an ongoing basis, and to provide new and creative solutions where possible.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will interact with clients, service providers and internal stakeholders daily to own, solve, and support external client configuration issues as they pertain to the Prime Services business units. Bring a hands‑on approach to systems integration, and Onboarding tasks while working alongside various engineering teams. Liaise with the Client Service Reps, Operations Middle Office, and Engineering teams by successfully blending functional and business knowledge and skills. Deliver high quality client experience and be proactive in escalating roadblocks via the established Service Level Expectation (SLA) framework and EOD huddles. Bring an eagerness to be familiar with Goldman Sachs’ client base and exercise sound judgement from inception until completion of the Client Onboarding, Reporting and Cash Management processes.
