The predicted salary is between 54000 - 66000 £ per year.
The candidate will have responsibility for a broad range of day-to-day tasks including:
- Advising deal teams on approval requirements for different transaction types
- Scheduling, ensuring smooth operation of, and minuting follow ups for Capital or Commitments committees in various forms (regular, ad hoc, and offline meetings and various delegated processes)
- Initiating risk bookings post transaction signing via approval of eCARs, working with Controllers, Middle Office and Divisional Risk to ensure accurate reflection of risk on the balance sheet
- Deputized responsibilities on behalf of Chief Underwriting Officers including presentation of transactions to committee; approval of Investment Grade bond issuances; and closing of committee follow-ups
- Assistance in roll-out of regulatory driven changes to approval processes and committee memoranda templates in coordination with Engineering, Credit Risk and GBM Private Leadership
- Coordination of responses to both internal and external audits and periodic regulatory examinations
- Acting as a team lead by advising and training junior team members
Skills & Experience Required
- At least 4-5 years of related experience
- Interest in debt and equity capital markets
- Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral as well as written
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Motivated to develop credit and equity analysis skills and an understanding of financing documentation
- Ability to work well with team members and across multiple other internal teams, motivated to train and advise junior team members
