Key Responsibilities:
- Testing Governance: Drive consistency and enhance efficiency in software testing practices across diverse cross‑functional teams. Lead and contribute to a cross‑functional Testing Centre of Excellence (CoE), defining and implementing common standards and best practices for software testing within the EMEA Wealth Management business. Coordinate effectively with global technical and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure testing environments are consistently available and optimised for EMEA‑specific use cases.
- Manage the EMEA Audit Roadmap from an engineering perspective, including identifying, assessing, and managing the engineering impact and resource requirements for audit initiatives. Provide robust support for audit requests, such as data provision, with a strategic focus on driving long‑term efficiency and scalability in response mechanisms. Define, track, and regularly report key audit metrics to senior leadership, ensuring transparent communication of status and progress.
- Regulatory Technical Support & Resolution: Offer critical technical support to Control Teams, facilitating the effective management and resolution of regulatory‑impacting technical issues. Collaborate closely with Engineering leadership to agree upon optimal solution designs, secure necessary resources, and ensure timely delivery of high‑priority regulatory items. Cultivate deep functional knowledge of complex problem domains and technical areas, consistently demonstrating intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong foundational understanding and practical experience with core Technology Concepts and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
- Proven professional experience as a Technical Support Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Test Manager, with a preference for experience within the Financial Services Industry (or equivalent relevant experience from consultancy or software houses).
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands‑on experience in implementing software testing best practices and developing comprehensive governance artefacts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate key messages and effectively escalate issues.
- A proactive and action‑oriented mindset, coupled with the confidence and awareness to collaboratively challenge existing processes and drive organisational change.
- High degree of curiosity and energy, demonstrating a keen desire to master complex technical and business domains and actively drive initiatives forward.
- A deep sense of ownership and accountability, committed to enhancing the firm’s capabilities and contributing to its success in a commercially congruent manner.
