YOUR IMPACTMarcus by Goldman Sachs is looking for a commercial and customer‐focussed Product Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has good knowledge of retail deposits markets, possess high quality product management skills, partnering and collaborating with various teams, and providing analysis powering decision‐making.

As an important member of the team, you will be working closely with leadership, and your contributions will be key in successful product management and performance, effective stakeholder management is another crucial aspect of the role.

In this role you will be responsible for partnering with key teams across the business including Operations, Engineering, Product Owners, Marketing and Legal & Compliance to lead recommendations and provide high quality analysis driving decision making. Your expertise in fostering cross‐functional collaboration will enable you to bridge gaps between teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contributing to the design and management of deposit products through their full lifecycle to meet customers\’ needs and deliver a best‐in‐class experience, leveraging digital channels

Driving savings product initiatives and making recommendations to enhance customer and product proposition

Leading & supporting delivery of agreed product changes, including pricing, to manage commercial performance and to ensure good customer outcomes

Maintain a full understanding of relevant compliance and local market regulatory issues

Monitor product performance and analyse existing customer behaviour to recommend changes

Maintain and manage forward looking view to develop and refine the savings product range

Support development of detailed business cases to support future proposals

Maintaining and refining roadmap/backlog of savings change items

Developing and monitoring risk metrics, identifying issues and making recommendations to ensure fair treatment of customers

Support execution of campaign activity to engage, retain & increase balances across the customer base

Partner with marketing teams to deliver agreed tasks to support the marketing acquisition plan

Partner with Customer Care and Operations teams to deliver agreed tasks to ensure that products are implemented and supported seamlessly and consistently across channels

Proactively identify and recommend ideas to drive growth for innovation and /or alternative channels

REQUIREMENTS

At least 3 years of retail banking experience in a savings product role in retail banking either within a large incumbent/direct bank/fintech

Subject matter expert in savings products including interest rate / pricing dynamics

Experience of working in a product team on both technical and commercial aspects of the product

Good knowledge of banking, trends, consumer behaviour and relevant local regulations such as BCOBS, AML/KYC, TCF, Conduct risk & Consumer duty

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience of working and delivering in an agile environment

Bachelor\’s degree ideally in a relevant field (marketing, financial services)
