This role will support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for our institutional business in EMEA, which spans pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, and insurers. The role will assist client-facing teams, product strategy, investment teams, and broader Asset Management marketing team by helping to coordinate marketing activities, gather insights, and contribute to full-funnel plans that support business growth in this critical segment.
Position Responsibilities
- Channel marketing support: Assist in planning and executing components of the integrated marketing strategy for institutional and insurance client segments, supporting overall business growth objectives.
- Campaigns and execution: Assist in coordinating and executing lead generation and client retention campaigns across digital, media, and in-person channels, including project tracking and asset preparation.
- Sponsored events: Partner with AM event marketing, institutional and insurance business leaders to develop a marketing strategy and execution for key channel sponsorships and events.
- Content: Work with content and product marketing teams to help maintain the content calendar, contribute editorial ideas, and assist in updating marketing and sales collateral, social media posts, and am.gs.com pages.
- Measurement and reporting: Help compile reporting on day-to-day and campaign-related marketing performance, gathering data to support ROI analysis and identifying observations to share with senior team members.
- Risk management: Follow established regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications and elevate any operational risk concerns appropriately.
- Team support: Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the institutional and insurance marketing team, supporting workflow efficiency and team initiatives.
- Partnership and collaboration: Build working relationships with peers across AM marketing, EO marketing partners, Corporate Communications, sales, and investment teams to support cross‑team coordination.
Qualifications
- 2‑5 years of relevant marketing or financial services experience; internship experience in asset management or financial services is a plus.
- Foundational understanding of the asset management industry, including clients, products, and competitors; willingness to deepen knowledge of regulations and industry dynamics.
- Strong analytical mindset with curiosity, attention to detail, and emerging commercial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize information from multiple sources and contribute to clear, well‑structured messaging.
- Eagerness to learn from subject matter experts across the broader marketing team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards under time pressure.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, basic martech tools, and analytics platforms within a B2B context.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required.
