Responsibilities
- Sourcing, identifying and evaluating attractive investment themes and opportunities;
- Building relationships with management teams, senior advisors and external industry experts;
- Financing and closing investments as well as developing, monitoring and implementing value creation strategies at our existing portfolio companies.
We are looking for a team member who will thrive in a lean organization, operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic and professional record;
- Between 2-4 years of experience at a leading investment bank, strategy consulting firm and/or an investment role, ideally within the technology sector;
- Highly motivated, well-rounded, team players who are passionate about investing and want to build a long-term career at Goldman Sachs;
- European language skills are strongly preferred;
- Passionate and intellectually curious about technology and growth equity investing;
- Entrepreneurial and tenacious, relentlessly working past obstacles to achieve exceptional outcomes;
- Strong financial analysis/modelling experience with robust analytical/problem-solving skills;
- Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people, work effectively under pressure and keen to take on responsibility;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
