THE TEAM & RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or junior HR professional to fulfill a generalist HR role, exposed to all aspects of the HR function in a global financial firm. The successful candidate will join the EMEA Business Partner (BP) team to support the delivery of their regional and global people strategy. Work alongside senior BPs, partnering with regional and business unit leaders to deliver on their people strategy and be the point of contact on HCM-related matters. Collaborate with HCM functional groups (e.g., Compensation, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Mobility, Recruiting) to provide seamless HCM services on a range of matters including local and international mobility, new hire offer management, data management, reporting, etc. Participate in global project teams to deliver annual talent management processes, including goal setting, talent reviews, annual feedback, promotions, compensation, and people pulse surveys. Analyze and review people data to help shape and drive the people strategy.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Recent graduate or junior HR professional (up to approximately 3 years’ experience).
- Demonstrable passion for HR — ideally studying towards or holding an HR degree, CIPD qualification, or equivalent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player and collaborator with potential to work increasingly autonomously over time.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Ability to analyze data; competent in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, or aptitude to learn quickly.
