IGPC focuses on corporate and infrastructure debt for public and private companies globally with an investment grade profile. Vice Presidents support the business by working as part of small deal teams responsible for identifying, conducting due diligence, structuring, executing, and monitoring investments and are involved in a wide variety of exciting transactions across the capital structure in a variety of industries. VPs are also responsible for the training and support of the junior team members, ensuring effective portfolio management, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities • Build relationships with issuers, sponsors, and internal GS stakeholders • Directly originate private placement corporate and infrastructure transactions externally • Liaise with internal bankers to generate investment opportunities • Work closely with EMEA sales coverage to identify client prospects • Support the management of deal teams and associated staffing requests • Train junior staff members on deal structuring and issuer communication Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in debt capital markets, preferably 10+ in the private placement market • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university; MBA and/or CFA preferred • Extensive knowledge on the UK private placement investor base and issuer universe • Proficiency in all aspects of the private placement transaction process • Excellent credit analysis, oral and written communication skills • Experience in managing relationships with issuers, placement agents, and financial advisors ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
