We are working exclusively with a leading hedge fund to identify a Senior Network Engineer to take primary ownership of their global networking infrastructure. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a candidate who wants genuine technical ownership in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
The Role:
You will serve as the firm's most senior networking authority — designing, evolving, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across multiple global locations. This is a hands-on position requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to operate autonomously across a broad and complex environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the architecture, deployment, and continuous improvement of the firm's global network platform
- Owning incident resolution and performance troubleshooting across the network estate
- Managing maintenance, upgrades, and patching across all regions
- Identifying and driving automation opportunities across operational workflows
- Collaborating closely with broader infrastructure teams on firm-wide technology initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years hands-on network engineering experience in financial services, trading, or similarly demanding environments
- Strong Palo Alto firewall expertise
- Advanced Arista switching knowledge
- Cisco certification or equivalent practical experience
- Multicast experience in low-latency or electronic trading environments
- Solid WAN architecture and routing protocol knowledge
