Procurement Advisor role at Golding Homes, reporting to the Head of Procurement, based in central Maidstone.
Responsibilities
- You will provide detailed advice and guidance to the organisation on all aspects of procurement and at all stages of the procurement cycle, including advice on procurement issues to colleagues, managers and suppliers.
- You will support the establishment and maintenance of internal procedures and systems designed to evaluate and regulate procurement processes, and develop commercially effective solutions while ensuring that the governance framework is considered.
- The role includes undertaking market research, benchmarking of costs and services and spend analysis.
Qualifications
- Team player with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and manage suppliers.
- Experience in procurement, using procurement systems, finance and purchase‐to‐pay systems, with strong MS Office skills.
- Experience drafting contracts and interpreting terms and conditions, with an understanding of procurement policy and procedure, including public law.
- Level 3 Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply qualification or qualified by experience.
- Experience working in a housing setting is desirable.
Annual salary circa £38,000 and a 37‐hour working week. Based in central Maidstone.
