This role reports directly into the Finance Manager working in a small highly skilled team. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibility of the Assistant Accountant Role:
- Work closely with accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet review and reconciliation
- Assist with the monthly management accounts
- Assist with the year end
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Good training and grounding in double entry bookkeeping
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Articulate and confident
- Perfect role for someone making a first move from practice
