About the Role
Reporting directly to the Partner and Head of Commercial Property, you will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting a thriving team. This position offers exposure to a diverse and challenging caseload of complex commercial property transactions, allowing you to showcase your technical expertise and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on acquisitions, landlord and tenant matters, lease arrangements, and disputes
- Managing funding arrangements and preparing auction contracts to tight deadlines
- Identifying legal risks and ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Liaising with other departments including corporate, real estate, and finance for integrated service delivery
- Building long-term client relationships through quality advice and communication
- Leading by example, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to a well-structured, efficient team
Candidate Profile:
You’ll be a confident and commercially astute solicitor with:
- 8+ years PQE in commercial property law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- The ability to manage multiple transactions with professionalism and calm under pressure
