Overview

As a Store Manager, your main goal is to take full responsibility for running your store successfully.

You will lead by example, ensuring every customer receives excellent coffee with a smile and great service, while managing day‑to‑day operations, costs, and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Create the perfect space for customers to enjoy coffee and develop fresh ideas that meet customers’ ever‑changing wants and needs.
  • Own controllable costs through effective management of stock, labour, training, reward & recognition programs, and cash procedures.
  • Inspire, train, and develop your team to reach their full potential and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Track sales, monitor health and safety, ensure store targets are met, and maintain store security and financial compliance.
  • Plan rotas, guarantee adequate coverage, and support the team with development tools such as My Costa Learning.
  • Lead the hiring of new team members, train them to drive sales, upsell confidently, and uphold high standards.
  • Stay current with Costa and Goldex guidelines, keep all store documents in order, and maintain regular communication with your Line Manager and Head Office regarding payroll, HR, maintenance, and banking.
