We’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a beautiful country hotel in Gloucestershire. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, this established property is known for its fresh, seasonal food, welcoming restaurant and impressive calendar of weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident chef who enjoys being part of a busy, quality-driven kitchen.
You’ll work closely with the Head Chef, helping to lead the brigade and ensuring everything runs smoothly across restaurant service, functions and large-scale events.

Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Taking the lead during service and helping the brigade deliver consistently high standards
- Preparing and delivering quality Modern British dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Helping to manage busy restaurant services alongside weddings, functions and corporate events
- Training, mentoring and encouraging junior members of the brigade
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Sous Chef within a quality fresh-food kitchen
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing high-volume services
- Ideally has experience with weddings, banqueting, functions or events
- Is a confident and supportive team player who can lead from the front
