We’re partnering with a stunning country house hotel nestled in the Cotswolds, seeking a passionate Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading their talented kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef with hotel experience to step into a senior role within a refined, fast-paced environment that blends banqueting excellence with elevated restaurant dining.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Sous Chef:

  • £38,610 per annum plus £3,000 service charge

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef:

  • Supporting the Head Chef in managing the daily operations of the kitchen
  • Overseeing restaurant service, banqueting and events to ensure exceptional quality and presentation
  • Leading and motivating the team to deliver consistent high standards
  • Assisting with menu creation, stock management and maintaining GP targets
  • Upholding food safety, hygiene and compliance across all sections

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef within a luxury hotel environment
  • Is confident working across multiple outlets, including restaurant, banqueting and events
  • Brings creativity, organisation and a calm, hands-on approach
  • Takes pride in mentoring and inspiring junior chefs
  • Thrives under pressure while maintaining impeccable standards
