We are excited to be partnering with a stylish and sophisticated gastropub nestled in a charming Surrey village. Known for its relaxed vibe and exceptional steak and cocktail offerings, this venue is looking for a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and help drive the kitchen's success. You must have experience working with fresh ingredients, ensuring quality and flavour are always front and centre.

As a Sous Chef, you will receive:

  • £40,000 per annum plus £5,000 service charge

Responsibilities as a Sous Chef include:

  • Assisting the Head Chef in running day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining the highest food quality standards.

  • Helping to create and update menus, focusing on seasonal and steak-led dishes.
  • Ensuring all health and safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
  • Managing stock levels, assisting with ordering and controlling costs to maintain profitability.
