Job Description
We’re supporting one of the UK’s most spectacular 5-star country house hotels in their search for a Pastry Junior Sous Chef. Home to a beautifully refined 3 Rosette restaurant and a wider selection of exceptional dining outlets, this hotel offers the perfect platform to elevate your pastry career in a luxurious, high-profile setting.
You’ll be joining a passionate team of six in the pastry kitchen, crafting elegant patisserie for the restaurant, afternoon teas, and events, all within a kitchen that champions seasonality, precision, and creativity.

- £37,500 per annum plus circa £7,500 service charge
- Working 48 hours per week, 4 days on, 3 days off
- Live-in accommodation available from £255 per month

Responsibilities as a Pastry Junior Sous Chef…
- Supporting the Head Pastry Chef in managing the day-to-day running of the pastry section
- Leading and mentoring junior members of the team
- Producing high-quality patisserie and plated desserts for all F&B outlets, including the 3 Rosette restaurant, lounge, and banqueting events
- Assisting with the creation of seasonal menus and new pastry concepts
- Upholding immaculate standards of presentation, hygiene, and consistency
- Bringing creativity, energy, and a keen eye for detail to every service
This role would suit a Senior Chef De Partie or existing Junior Sous Chef looking to develop their career in a luxury hotel environment where pastry takes centre stage.
